I'm new to the forum having recently taken delivery of my first MB. It is a 2006 180 Komp C-class (W203) with only 27k miles on the clock.
I'm really enjoying the fantastic ride that the MB gives, I could drive it forever!! Regretfully the car is black so I will be cleaning it forever!!
Whilst writting i wondered if you could give me some advice on the interior. Now I'm not sure if this is just my eyes or the thickness of the protective coating so ask this question cautiously:-
The interior is black 'leather' but the majority appears to be 'leatherette' or vinyl. Am I correct in my assumption that the only leather panels are the perforated seat base and back and the perforated door trim inserts? Ie that the seat bolsters, backs, head restraints, arm rests are the vinyl? If they are leather they have a very thick protective layer which does not feel the same as the perforated.
Many thanks - I look forward to chatting with you all.
