2006 CLS500

Hey guys, this will probably sound stupid to some, but i just bought a "new to me" CLS 500 and the nav does not work, or is not hooked up, or has no software, i am not sure what is wrong. the dealer i bought it from said i needed to spend $3,000 to get nav. My question is this car has the command center and says nav/map and looks exactly like another car i test drove that had nav. Is there a dvd i can put in to get the nav or do i need to get a new command center with it preloaded on it? All your help is appreciated.

The CLS is like an E-class, you would need a navi processor at the trunk. See this thread explaining how to retrofit one if there is none:

The Comand head unit itself would remain untouched (unless it needs a SW update).
