My computer says 185 degrees!

I have a 2006 Mercedes C230 sport. I was STUPID and went through an automatic car wash and I think it messed up a wire under my front bumper, near the wheel well. My dash says that it is 185 degrees outside and my check engine light is on. I have an appointment to take my car in to the dealership in two days to get it checked out. I was wondering if anybody is familiar with this issue and is it possibly covered under my warranty? If not, how much could it cost me? The wire appears to be be in good shape, but just needs to be reattached.

I must say up front that I am new to the world of luxury cars. I'm not knowledgeable about cars as it is in the first place. I know I'll never take my beautiful car to another car wash. i was simply being lazy that day and did not realize how low to the ground my car was.

Thanks in advance for any answers and help.

First thing is to tell the service writer what you explained to us. This will head them in the right direction, instead of paying them to look for the problem. It maybe a simple connection and clear your code.
And not to say we told you so... BUT Never take a Mercedes- Benz to an automatic car wash again.
