Question !991 300E feels like it is being swayed side to side.

This beautiful car car has only 75000 km on it and was imported to Canada from Japan (RHD) 2 years ago. I drove it all last winter and it worked great even in snow. I had noticed in the early spring that it had a real "squeeky" sound coming from the passenger side especially when turning the steering wheel. Inspection showed no evident wear and some WD40 made it quieter. I covered it for the summer and drove my 91-190e. Today, I put the 300e back on the road and it isn't squeeking BUT to my surprise it has an evident almost scary sway after 80km or so. Just acts as if it is in a gusty windstorm. I looked under the front end for loose connections etc. but see nothing unusual. What do you suggest? Did the sitting for 5 months cause this deterioration? By the way, the tires and wheels, driveshaft, and tranny shifting are all A-1. What do you hink?

The rear suspension is probably steering the car. The rubber bushings in all the links are probably deteriorated allowing the tires to shift around steering the car. This looseness lets the thrust angle change when power is applied ,also road conditions can move the tires around. It is a scary sensation and dangerous. Remove the rear tires and check for damaged or missing rubber bushings in the links. Good luck Dusty
