Too much fuel consumption

Dear Friends,

I need your help again before i go to the mechanic. I have MB 230 E, four cylenders, automatic, I fill its tank with 60 liters. My car only drives me maximum 400 km. I feel this is not normal, and i believe it must drive me at least 500 km with this 60 liters. My car also got a/c. can you advise me what could be the problem? what causes too much fuel consumption?

Thank you

can you please drop your VIN which stick on your driver door pillar. regarding to your complaint,i would check the Co reading from exhaust by gas analyzer.2nd to check your ignition spark plug burning condition.3rd fuel supply pressure. don't demand or expect too high on the old machine..youngster always the winner in the marathon.

You are getting 400 for 60. I am getting 100 for 21.9.
