Hello from Northern Virginia and the greater Washington DC area

Hello. My name is Bill Woodier and I'm a Mercedes owner.

The day before the 4th of July, I drove down to North Carolina and drove home in my first Mercedes Benz. It's a smoke silver 1989 560SL with palomino leather interior. It has just about 48,000 miles on it and is in pretty good shape overall.

As you Mercedes owners already know, there's always something that needs fixing/tweaking and searching for a couple answers is what led me here and I'm glad I found you folks. Work keeps me pretty busy and I don't get on the computer all that ofter but each time I do, I plan to drop by for a visit.

Best regards; Bill

Hi Bill, I see you're from the Mid Atlantic, there are quite a few of us out here. I just joined this forum this month and it's a wealth of information.

You need to post some pictures of your ride, a SL560 w/48K on it is a rare find indeed. That is surely a classic and we would love to see it. There's another MB forum that is having a get together next weekend. PM me for more info if you're interested.

Enjoy your new baby!
Gary

Thank you both for the kind words. I'm going to be tied up with other commitments tomorrow and Sunday. I have a fair amount of work-related weekend commitments but I would like to start attending some events when I have the time. As soon as I can, I'll post a couple pics of the SL.

Cheers; Bill
