A New Car

2006 Volkswagen Jetta 2.0T

The trunk is much bigger than you'd expect looking at the outside.

200 HP and 207 ft-lb torque at 1,800 RPM. That is the lowest peak I have ever seen on a 4 cylinder, its like a V8.

Its a lot of fun so far. My first car, the ML and 300E are my parents, and first time I've really driven a manual in real world situations. I still get nervous and stall when people are behind me occasionally, especially on hills, but I'm getting the hang of it.

Sorry I haven't been on much, just been busy with school mostly.

Nice and it is RED.
It is FWD right?
With stick shift when you get some snow try the tip on the brake, toe on the gas and left foot operate clutch when you make donuts on EMPTY parking lot.
Have fun.

To Dahappybanana:

Be careful out there, remember you are driving more than a car, that's a Volkswagen. When I learned to drive the clutch was not synchro, so do not complain and hold on in there. Don't let that car jump bronco on you.

It's a nice car with a great pick up, it should give you a lot of charisma at UNC, Appalachian, Clemson, UT, or wherever you attend. Go get them tiger.

Cheers. JV
