When one glow plug went bad on mine, I got an idiot light. Others have said that they did not get one with only one bad plug. It is very easy to test your plugs using an ohm meter. Disconnect the glow plug connector at the relay and check each terminal. Good plugs will read about 0.7 ohms. Another common issue might be an air leak from bad O-rings. Both well covered in the 210 section below.
