Is it true that for example Mercedes are high maintaince here in America, but if you have you'r Mercedes work on in germany or buy parts for it there since it was built there, is having it worked on up there cheaper then here?

MLs are build in Alabama.
Than Germans work definitely for less than $150/hr our dealers do.
Germans generally do honest jobs as well.

I guess it really depends on where you're located. take for example, here in the Philippines, OE parts are sent by air freight from Singapore, where the regional parts warehouse for MB is located...meaning very expensive! From the euro based price list, the dealer sells it for about double that!!! But then, as far as labor rates per hour are concerned, it's about P1,500/hour, loosely converted to US$, about $30,
