A CLS is not comparable to a Ferrari on any standard. And don't blame Mercedes for having technicians for having a lack of training. Some are and I can't speak for every tech out there. But as a company, they do the best they can to train everyone. But a dealer has to be willing to send people to the training. Try a different dealer, all are not equal. As far as a CLS goes, it is not the best car Mercedes has produced. All have a bad ride due to bent rims, no head room and all and more electronic issues that a early 211 had. Plus a 550 motor is a oil burner.

Totally agree but my biggest problem is that I have cracked all 4 rims more than once and blown up to a dozen new and used tires . And I drive like a little old lady . Literally I don't drive fast or hard so I can imagine others who drive the car harder are having similar problems.

Mercedes has to re engineer the strength of the rims and get their customers stronger tires . Forget about the costs , its also the lost time, missed appointments and trips to the beach. Disappointing others as well . We missed a flight because the car got a leak to the tire do to the cracked rim which we discovered at the worst moment .Mercedes should be held accountable

They have done nothing to improve the quality of the rims and tires . Probably because every time a rim or tire fails they make more money. I am moving on to a BMW. Better car and warranty.
