New guy with questions
Hi folks, My name is Mike, and I own an automotive fabrication shop in Gilroy California. (read streetrod shop) I just took on a job for a longtime friend and customer working on one of his ongoing, longterm projects. I'm not new to working on cars, or fabrication ,but I have not yet worked on any Mercedes. But I'm not afraid of a new challenge, and hope to find some help here with a few questions.
The project involves putting the m119 engine and transmission and management electronics from a '94 E420 into a '59 190SL. The 190 has already been heavily modified, with a full tube frame and corvette suspension. I did not do that work, it was started over 20 years ago, and several other shops have done work to this car. I'll post my questions in one of the forums, I hope I can put it in the right place.
I'm not new to forums, I am a contributing member and also a moderator on a fairly large hot rod forum.
Thanks for reading this,
