trans capacity

I have a 2000 C230K , what is the amount of trans fluid do you replace when you drop pan and replace filter

Can't answer for 230 engine, but the amounts on 320 wary. When some members report pulling 3.5 quarts in the procedure above, I got less than 3 quarts.
Shops usually charge for 4 or 5 quarts.
It is good idea to confirm the level with a dipstick after the job.
Also beware of potential saturation process in the transmission. After I flushed mine it took me almost 100 miles of driving before level stabilized.

I think I'm going to measure what came out & replace exact amount.
This vehicle doesn't come with a dipstik.

There is a service dipstick available, and the trans is measured warm. It appears they used 5, quarts or liters when they did a pan and filter on my E320.
