W126 Blower motor

Blower works fine on all speeds until engine is running then it stops

In other words when key goes from Pos 2 to Pos 3 it cuts out supply to the motor

Is the motor controlled by a relay?
I dont have wiring diagram

Thanks

First make sure you are actualy loosing power. I had one a while back that would do that, when I checked the motor I found there was a loose connection at the fan. I could move the wire and it would run then a while. I re soldered the wire to the fan and it works like a champ.

Also check the ignition switch, they are notorious for doing this.Wiggle the key while the veh is running and see if the blower motor cuts on and off.If it does make sure you replace the electrical portion and the key portion. If you replace only the elec then I gaurantee the ignition will lock up and then you have to drill it out(and that is no fun)
