Post Hello from Sunny Los Angeles CA!

Hi all! This is my first time on benzworld. I just purchased my third MB, a 2006 CLK 350. It is an adorable car and I'm very happy with it so far. The last two I had were a '98 E320 sedan and an '01 E320 wagon. Needless to say, I am very happy to be in my zippy little CLK coupe! Thanks for reading and happy driving!

hey there--i'm thinking about purchasing an 01 320 wagon. wondering if you had any complaints? did you have to undertake a lot of repairs? also do you have a mechanic you would recommend?

Post E320 Wagon

Hi there,
I actually didn't really ever have to do much to it, just A & B services, new tires etc. Basic maintenance, no major issues! It's a fun car that handles well for being a wagon and is really versatile for hauling things. If you are in the market for a wagon specifically, I highly recommend the E320! Going from the sedan to the wagon was seamless for how it drives. The only reason I switched to a coupe was that the "wagon" aspect kind of bugged me after a while. I realized I wanted something more sporty and compact. But overall that car was wonderful (it came with all the service records too which was a huge help to know)!

As far as mechanics go, I'm not sure where in LA you are but if you're on the East side- I love Alex at "Hyperion Auto Repair" in Silverlake (1841 Hyperion Ave. Los Angeles - 323-662-0170) and if you're North/West- I love Nelson at "Boulevard Auto Repair" (14857 Burbank Blvd. Van Nuys - 818-989-6028). Both are honest and helpful, and know Mercedes well!

Hope that helps!
