New in from Essex, UK

As you will see I am living in another German camp at present.

I have two kids that are getting bigger and I need a larger tourer so am looking at the obvious choices, 5 series, A6 and the E class.

I love driving and am sorely tempted for an E55 as I would expect the W210 version to be similar on consumption to my B8.

Oldschool BMX has been a money drain, but great at helping me not feel my age!

Cheers

Paul

Thanks for the welcome.

Yes the car pictured above is mine and is now for sale. It is a 3 series not a 5, so it does surprise a lot of people with its pace.

Damn, had something like that come around when we were looking for a car last year...

Oh, but you guys drive from the wrong side of the car

I've been scouting out possible Audi a4 quattros, A6 v8's, and some Bimmer 3 and 5 series cars to replace my C-class if I decide to not set it on fire first. It's been fine for the last half year, knock on wood, but as always, it's a matter of time with these things. It's been running fine for the last month, considering I left it in my garage

J-C,

Check the picture out, you will notice German export plates. I bought the car into the UK and am 2nd owner.

They only made these in left hand drive, the car is no 21 or 27 made in touring spec, check out some of the B8 videos on the webb if you want to see performance.

Cheers

Quick question, which you might not have an answer for, but do you know what Euro emissions class it qualifies for?

J-C,

This is the so called sticker isn't it?

If these things are actually stuck to the vehicles, the I can confirm there is a green one on the drivers side (left) sill.

I can get a picture if needs be.

Cheers
