Hello All,
I do not have a MB yet, but would like some advice. We are in search of a new car for my wife and have looked at EVERYTHING. Almost as a joke to ourselves we test drove a 2006 R350. I can't say enough of the car, or the overall dealership experience. We fell in love with the car, but reading reviews of this car they are not rock solid and very expensive to fix. But just wanted to pass on the offer they gave us and ask for advice moving forward. Here are the vehicle details:
2006 R350
CPO w/22,000
18" wheels
6 disk changer
Heated front Seats
Panorama
Power liftgate

They offered us 29K. in service date was 12/05, which I think means I am good until 12/10.

My questions:
Is this a good price?
Should I avoid a 2006 (first model year )?
Are there any options that I am going to miss or will want later?
Do MB dealerships operate the same any other dealer.. how much do they mark up and would be willing to negotiate?

lastly... and this is my first "premier" car purchase... ( even my more expensive Vette was a diff kind of purchase ) why do I feel weird bartering with them on a MB. Like if I need to barter.. I prob can't afford it?

Sorry for the long tread, but would love to become an active member soon as this R350 was soooo dam sweet.

Your thoughts please!!

Thanks
Rob
