Hi Everyone,

I have a 1997 E420. Bought it used in 2006. Major things went wrong with it: blower motor needed a change, climate control unit needed replacement, radiator change, front brake pads, some thing wrong with the air bag sensor that needed replacement, dual water valve still needs replacement. Bought new tires on AMG rims that previous owner put on. Also had the windows tinted and new alarm installed.

After investing so much money in the car, I don't want to give it up to someone else who will benefit from the repairs and upgrades.

I hope to post pictures when the weather is bright.

Welcome aboard, and thank you for filling out the CP.

You know I owned my Mercedes in San Francisco from 1996-2004 so I know how it is to own one there, and get no respect whatever. Plus all the parking, dents, accidents and other woes of owning a nice car in the City.

Perhaps Sal's Autohaus might be your best deal in the city for repairs. Pete's is good but oh so expensive. ABSOLUTELY avoid the San Francisco dealer.

What neighborhood do you live in? I was on Twin Peaks. Corbett Avenue in fact.
