First and probably last Benz

We have a 2005 C2404matic wagon and up until recently would have sworn we would remain dedicated owners. We will no longer bring the car to Mercedes of Morristown for service and will probably look to trade it in when we are able to do so. We no longer have a safe vehicle and the dealership does not care.. it would have cost them about $100 to keep my care safe but no, they are more interested in setting us up for major repairs down the road.

I have yet to find any manufacturer that condones single shock replacement on a vehicle who's shocks have 48,000 miles on them...

Welcome to Benzworld, and I guess you'll be leaving us as well. As far as the single shock replacement is concerned perhaps they feel that if the other shocks, are not leaking and still functional then why fix something that isnt broken. If youre not satisfied with you dealership there are avenues thru Benz that you can take, or perhaps find an independant Benz mechanic that you might find you have a better relationship with.
Heres the link to the Repair shops forum here and if your in Morristown,NJ theres Precision Motors in Rockaway on Rte 46.
