Please advise me what to do!!!!
I purchased a 2005 Mercedes ML350 from a dealer in NJ 7 weeks ago, when we looked at the jeep, they advised that the radio didn't work because the CD Changer needed replacing but they had one on order & showed us the documentation so we agreed on a price & completed the purchase.
The CD changer had not arrived by the time we completed everything so they said they would call when it arrived & they would install it for us.
They installed it but the mechanic said there was a short circuit on it so they would have to get a new one.
They then decided to install the CD changer from a ML500 that they had in stock & they sent it to the local mercedes dealer to get the radio programmed but there was still no sound so they have ordered a new CD changer.
They have told us that once the new CD changer is installed, the radio & GPS will work. I can switch on the radio & see the stations but there is no sound & when I switch to GPS, it says "Insert Navigation CD", this worries me as I don't want to have to purchase GPS after all of this hassle.
Are they taking us for a ride or am I panicking too much?
The guys at the dealership never seem to have the same story & I have to get angry wiht them before I get answers.
The jeep has spent 2 weeks with the dealership mechanic & it's still not sorted.
I would appreciate some advice!!!!
