Hello from Dublin, Ireland

Hi all,
I am in Ireland and I am looking for a 1970s SL at the moment.
I've always liked the look of them and I hope there will be a lot of info here!
Bye,
JohnTee

Welcome aboard, glad to have you.

Have you looked at Mercedes Enthusast, as a possible source for a right hook version of the SL from the 70's?

Those Panzerwagens can be found in good nick for sale there.

As always, the best general advice remains, buy at the BEGINNING, the best possible example you can afford. Neglected cars can sometimes cost a mint to fix, having been badly neglected by multiple sucessive previous owners that let them go.

Welcome aboard, John. I visited your great country a year ago and fell in love with it. Other than driving, it's a fine place to live.

Take care and enjoy the ride,
Greg
