Hello from Seaside Park NJ

Hello everyone!!!

My name is Steve and my girlfriend and I purchased a 2006 ML350 about a year ago. I am hoping to obtain much needed information about my car as well as to get a little guidance on what extended warranty we should buy. We are nearing the end of our factory warranty and have decided that we need to purchase an extended warranty. The only problem is which one and from whom. Any suggestions?

Anyway,

Nice to meet you all

Steve

Welcome aboard, glad to have you here!

WRT to extended warranties, you may do well to ask this question not right here, but over in the General Mercedes discussion section.

My personal feeling is that they are a calculated risk, and the Large Print giveth and the Small Print taketh away.

It's like buying ANY kind of Insurance, you pay a premium and the burden of risk is shifted elsewher, to the Insurer.

Read those exclusions carefully. The warranties cost a lot, and the peace of mind can be shattered if you find yourself not covered.

The safest ones are those that are bumper to bumper, and the older the car, the rarer they are, and the most expensive..
