ML350 Quick Question

Hey everyone!
Just wondering if someone could quickly tell me how to change the oil for a 2003 ML 350? I have all the stuff I just need to know how to do it.
Thanks!

Please search in the W163 forum. Your answer is all around in there.

To change your oil you should own

the Mercedes W163 service DVD
a vacuum motor oil extraction tool
an oil filter cap removal tool
a torque wrench

In addition, you should use only motor oil that meets MB spec 229.5

How's that for quick?

Engine should be close or at operating temp.

1. Undo the oil filter housing.
2. Remove dipstick.
3. Pump out oil using oil pump like Mityvac 7201, Griot Garage pneumatic pump, or topsider.
4. Replace oil filter. Torque to 20 Nm, I think. It should be written on the plastic housing.
5. Replace oil with Mobil 1 0W40. Do not overfill.
6. Reset FSS

Thats about it. Hopefully I did not miss any steps.
