Musikmann - I hope all is well for you in the Mountain State.
Yes I've turned-in 2 leased MB's through 2005. The good thing is that Mercedes isn't that strict on turn-in requirements (within reason of course). But the bad news is that a Mercedes lease turn-in is not always the most desirable used car.
The reality is most of the higher-mileage vehicles get auctioned-off and are not what the MB dealer wants in it's used and/or CPO inventory.
Life could be better but that's beyond the scope of this forum. Thanks for asking and I hope you've been well.
You just taught me something. I have always thought that the lease turn-ins were less than 3 years old and somewhere less than 40,000 miles. On the surface those sounds like cherry used cars, but maybe not if the owners are only doing the "minimum" service that you mentioned!
