ipod MI lead

hi hope someone can shed some light on this. I bought the new MI lead set for ipod aux and usb for 2009 b class, and when connected message on radio says (devise excess current ) or something like that. Have tried different ipods and same message appears. If I plug ipod through usb I can get sound only. Also does not charge. Can anyone help. Perry.

Hi, sounds like a fault - especially if you have tried more than one iPod and had the same message. I would return to the dealer, should be covered by warranty. I haven't had any problems with mine - the MI is a great piece of tech.
