Optimun(best) engine temp for M102

I am looking for information on the Optimum (Best) running temperature for the M102....giving the highest power...and lowest fuel consumption

Anyone with the info, please let me know.

The optimum would be the range that Mercedes designed the engine to normally operate in, 80-100 C.

The M102, even with its comparatively primitive engine management, does use its temperature sensors to adjust the ignition and fuel metering to maintain a certain equilibrium.
