B200 Oil Filter Location?

Does any one know where the oil Filter location is on a 2006 B200.

I think it is front lower drivers side, does that seem right. It looks like a metal jacket with an insert filter, correct?

Thanks very much,

I have a 2005 A200 and found the oil filter location after a very long search.
It is located on the left side of the dipstick. if you look down to where the dipstick enters the engine you will see a round black plastic holder the size of the filter with a 17mm nut. You will need a socket and a long extension to unscrew it, after loosening it leave it for a minute or two for the oil to drain out of it. If you also want to know where the oil drain plug is remove the plate under the engine on the same side as the oil filter the plug is very far back. You will see a rectangular metal box(Sump) at the back of this facing the tail gate you will find a 13mm screw with a copper washer. If you stand next to the vehicle it is next to the front door, On left hand drive vehicles next to passenger door right hand drive next to driver door, it can be reached by lying next to vehicle and unscrewing it. To remove the plate that covers the bottom of the engine and sump you will need to jack the car up.

Hope this help

b200 oil filter location (2009)

This task is like a scavenger hunt! The notes here were VERY helpful! The oil filter is mounted upside down near the dipstick...the drain plug is way back near the passenger compartment....note that its a 27mm nut on top of the oil filter casing - cheers!!
