Thinking about buying this car, does anyone know how it handles in the winter?

It's 2WD. How do you think it handles?

Here's the best I can offer. I have a rwd C Class Sport, which is a similar chassis, although a bit smaller. With the stock staggered 17" Continental tires, it was not good in the snow. With Blizzak WS60, it did a great job here in Michigan. If you really and truly want the diesel (as I wanted the manual trans, which required rwd), go for it, but understand that you must get winter tires, and I know of none better than Blizzak WS60....good luck!

RWD with dedicated winter tires tend to outperform AWD with all-seasons. That is unless you're in really deep snow where the extra two wheels providing traction and the extra ground clearance AWD models usually have come in handy.
