Greetings from Ireland!

Hi all, just registered, been lurking for a while.

I have a '89 W126 300SE in smoke silver metallic, and in a really bad shape unfortunately. She's not running at the moment, rust started to develop and she needs a new windscreen. Used to have an autogas system but it's removed for it caused all sorts of problems up to the point where the engine didn't start/run anymore.

The other thing is, I ran the VIN decoder, and it tells me my car is "approx. 1985" which is strange, as it's registered in Nov '89. Many things to sort out...

Welcome aboard...that's the biggest car I recall seeing from a member in Ireland. How do you manage that on those narrow country lanes? I loved visiting Ireland, but driving there was not one of the things I loved.

The 126 forum is quite popular with lots of smart folks, so I'm sure you'll find some help for your issues in there.

Take care and enjoy the ride,
Greg

Thank you lads, but I should have been more specific. I live and work in Ireland, but the car is not here, it's back home with my parents in Hungary where I'm from. She's LHD by the way, looks like she was retailed in Germany and subsequently imported to Hungary. Sorry for the misunderstanding.
