om616 core plug/fuel pump question?

I have a 407d van project which has the 2.4d om616 engine. Over the winter I forgot to drain the radiator and one of the core plugs has popped out (hopefully that's all the damage that's been done), luck would have it that it's the plug behind the fuel pump, so to put a new one in I'm going to have to take the fuel pump off. Can anyone tell me, if I take the fuel pump off will I have to reset the timing etc or will it just be a simple take off put back on again?
Thanks in advance for the help.
