Question New to MB. What to buy?

I have never owned a MB but I have driven a 2006 E350 and was really impressed. I don't know if I should start around 2003 to 2006 or go a little older and save?

I hear MB had a few years of poor quality. What would your recommend? I want to spend $22K or less.

Thanks

CRJ200

I flew the CRJ200 for almost 7 years. Looks like you are flying it. I am now on CE560XL.

All you have to do is search and poke around to find the answer to your questions.

I was in exactly your position until last week. Got an 02 e430 with only 23,700 miles for 19,900. The car is stunning. Fair warning; If you drive an 8 cylinder, you will not be happy with a 6.

If you have the luxury of time, there are so many great buys out there.

Not everybody is a power freak. I enjoyed our ML55 AMG for passing power, but hated running credit card twice at fill up. Driving on freeways the V8 power was useful about every 7000 miles for short burst.
Now I enjoy the 700 miles tank range on 6 cylinder diesel.
One swipe.

Used C32 and the super extended warranty!

Or used C55 & you will have no more money for the warranty.

...you will never regret an AMG!
