I am researching Mercedes-Benz for one of my classes at York College of Pennsylvania. I have two simple questions that I am asking you to respond to you as soon as you can:
1. What makes Mercedes-Benz better than other luxury car brands such as BMW, Lexus, Audi, and Infiniti?
2. Who should own a Mercedes-Benz?
Thanks in advance,
Since you are from York I'll give you a metaphor which will probably paint you a good picture: "Why a Harley instead of a Yamaha, a Kawasaki, or a BMW motorcycle?" Mercedes is a matter of tradition in quality, of a prestigious line of motor cars since the development of the combustion and diesel engines, and of factory service to the customer starting with their in Plant and in track design and development, product materials, and customer support through their network of dealers, which make possible to the users whatever they can afford. But Mercedes is not only a car for the wealthy, it is an ideal car for the handy amateur who feels the wants to own one and the needs to express his abilities by purchasing and all beat up unit with way over 100,000 miles on it, and making of it the cruiser or the show car of his dreams. Can you do the same with a BMW, a Lexus, or an Infinity? Perhaps, but will you get the same satisfaction out of it. Remember that transportation you can get as well with a Ford K, a Kia, or even a Yugo. So, put everything in perspective and you will know why which luxury car should be picked, from a cabriolet, to a station wagon, to a coupe, a sedan or a limousine, to a car modified for racing or armored for protection.
As for who should own it, whoever can afford it through his/her wallet or mechanical abilities.
