Why Mercedes?

Because I'm weak in the presence of beauty.

And it's some kind of heaven to drive.

Unlike many, I'd like it even better without the insignia.

1. What makes Mercedes-Benz better than other luxury car brands such as BMW, Lexus, Audi, and Infiniti?

2. Who should own a Mercedes-Benz?

Thanks in advance,
1. There have been Mercedes in my family for many years. Safety is a big part of it. If you take care of your MB, it will last for years. My uncle's 300D stayed with him for more than 20 years.
BMWs still seem to me to be the car for the young up and comer. This is just my impression (I am sure I posted this a few years ago) Growing up, it was my older cousins who bought BMWs when they got their first career type job.
Lexus-why buy a copy when you can get the original.
Audi-nice cars. We also had a a couple of these. One of first cars was an audi fox (no luxury there!).
Infiniti-I really did not know this was considered a luxury brand. Honestly, I have not even seen one up close.
2. Who should own a mercedes?-People who appreciate and will care for them. Not those who want it as a fashion accessory. A big part of this forum is DIY. If you work on your own mercedes (within your limits, of course) you will gain a better appreciation of what you own.
