Oldie but a goodie

Just purchase a 1987 260 with only 110,000 miles on it. I am more than excited to get this beaut running like it came of the show room floor. I am the third owner. The first two were women. The car has sat in a machine shed for the last couple of years. I have only done a few small things so far but everything has improved the auto. I am new to this site and would love all of the help I can get. My major focus as of now are the mechanics. The minor cosmetic stuff can wait. I have drained the oil. Changed the filter to a Bosch filter. Because I could not find the OEM filters of Mann and Hummel of Ludwigsburgs except for online so I ordered a case of ten because I plan to keep this car running strong for a long time. I used synthetic Mobile 15W - 50 oil for a year round application. Which brings me to a question. Is that the correct oil supplier and grade? Or should I be using OEM oil. The temperature can range quite a bit here from like -20 F in the winter wind and 100 F in the summer sun. I may use 10W - 30 in the winters. I am also wondering if I should have skipped synthetic altogether. Next is the automatic transmission fluid, filter, and seal. Please advise how to post in proper locations. Your Benz Buddy
