wow Lou, not sure what you do for a living or how detrimental that is to you but that sure can make a grown man cry. For all it's worth you got a sick ride, enjoy it.

I recently inquired on a trade for a new CL600; they insulted me with the original trade value at $35,000 and grudgingly went to $42,000. Only $93,00 in depreciantion in 4 years. I have said it before but never followed through, this is the last high end car that I will ever buy new.
That's why god gave us EBay (or was it Al Gore, I always get them confused), Craigs List, or other online/internet sites. When I traded in my '02 CLK, I knew I'd gotten about 4 or 5 thousand dollars less than if I'd have sold it outright. I just didn't want the hassle, so it went to the dealer. But if I'd paid 135K and after 8000 miles and 4 years later, that same dealer offered me 42K, I'm quite sure it would be the last time I set foot in that place. But that's just me.

Oh come on--at $135K you're buying a toy.

Toys become tiresome quickly and the resale market shows it. Prices of used toys are indeed cheap.
