Thank you very much Mr. T
Today I took new pictures in better light. Let's see if I can upload the pics.
It worked! Last time I had some issues with pop-up blocks. That was why I couldn’t upload the pics. Thank you Mr. T again for your help.
I am thinking of ordering a new front lower grill and put it in the trunk. It is so easy to take off the grill and put it back. It does not require any tool and it takes less than a minute to switch the grills from the one that has plate on it to the one without plate. So I may enjoy driving without front plate and as soon as police officer stops me for that, I bring up an excuse and in less than a minute I switch the grills in front of the officer. I hope I can live with it and the trick works
I put another picture from the rear view of the car. I took the picture last week the day after I purchased the car.
I really love the color combination of the car. It is metallic midnight blue on tan leather. I have always loved to have this color combination and when this car came to the market with just $54K Canadian (plus tax) and 60K KM millage on it, I couldn’t resist not buying it in this tough economic time!
I love the AMG power! So far I drove at 230km/h (140 mph). It took me just couple of seconds to increase the speed from 100km/h to 230km/h! And I did it in the highway after I passed one police patrol controlling the speed and before approaching the next police car!
That was just a very bad day to drive fast! Both police officers certainly thought that my speed was 100km/h all the time! This is what I love with 469 hp! Go to top speed in couple of seconds and slow down without anybody suspect you!
I don’t know yet the max speed of the car. One MB dealer told me the top speed is limited at 210km/h, certainly he was not right, because I drove at 230km/h! Another one told me it is 250km/h. Does anybody know what is the top speed? Can I reach 320km/h?
Please let me know your comments about the front plate.
By the way, I put some spacers between the plate and the grill, so the plate does not touch the grill, but it little bit touches the frame surrounding the grill as you can see it from the close up photo.
Thanks a lot all!
