Welcome to the forum. Depending on the year you're considering, cruise down to the R forums (R170, 171, etc.) and search around in there and post and ask folks' opinion. They're the ones who could best tell you the good and bad.

Take care and enjoy the ride,
Greg

Cool SLK Questions

We have never owned a Mercedes before, but we are looking at used (sorry...pre-owned) SLKs.

We had a Volvo for 10 years and the brake dust drove me CRAZY! We changed to ceramic pads and that pretty muck took care of it.

Does Mercedes still have brake dust problems? That might be a deal breaker.

Thanks!!
