New E320 owner from Vermont

Hello all,

Looks like a great site. I recently bought my first ever Benz - almost the car of my dreams - it's an '02 Silver wagon with 4Matic. In order to make it fully the car of my dreams it would have to be the E55... I'm a first generation American German (my father was born and raised near Stuttgart) and a Mercedes has always been on my wish list. I started out with VW Beetles (original) and then had mostly Saabs (99s, 900s, a 9-3 and a 9-5) with the occasional American (but only trucks and vans!) or Japanese thrown in for variety.

Anyways, I got it from the original owner with 83,000 miles on it. It's in "pretty good" shape, but not perfect. I'll be pestering the tech forums with various complaints, starting with some unfamiliar suspension(?) noises that I'd like to trace down before I take it on the 2500 mile trip that prompted me to buy it at this time...

See you around!

Welcome to BW, David! I lived in Barre for 4 years, I miss it (and VT in general) terribly.
If you are looking for specific info, go to your car's appropriate class and hit the "search forum" tab at the top, type in your question (suspension) and you should have your answer within a couple hours! If you can't find the answer you're looking for that way, hit the "new topic" tab and describe what you're dealing with. The more details, the better if you do it that way. Best of luck to you!

"If you don't know what you're looking for it's kind of hard to find it!"

If it helps America through it's current crisis, I say go ahead! We can take it, after all we're Canadian!

Blame Canada!!
