Snap-on Dealers

I am in the process of amassing a tool collection. I am really not satisfied with the tolerances of craftsman tools, especially in the torx and hex head fastner world. Is there a benzworld.org fav vendor? snap-on or mac, mac does have a line of ?hardned? they call it 'removal', anyone have this line? Do you all buy impact versions of tools for their hardness, sockets and or drivers?

Where are you located? If it's near Alberta I have family that are Snap-On dealers and can answer any of your questions...they carry everything and anything. I can get their contact info for you.

I checked out www.chadstoolbox.com
they seem to have the best price on the names you listed, is there better resources out there..

I guess the real question is, if you had to outfit a toolbox for work on (w211), what would be the essentials?

There are a couple reputable Snap On sellers who sell on eBay for a discount.

For example, the well regarded F80 ratchet (3/8" , sealed head, 80 teeth, double pawl) can be bought for $60 shipped, compared with the $78.50 retail price. The industrial finish version (black) can be bought for $50.

Not a whole lot, but a discount nevertheless.
