How to get a phone to work

bought 02 s430 how do I activate or get the phone to work?

Read the attached document to discover what equipment is required, and by observing your car what you already have.

Note that combined CD and PTT installation is not mandatory for phone.

Then understand that there aren't any phones compatible with this system anymore and that you need a final attachment that isn't a phone cradle but rather is a Bluetooth transmitter/receiver.

When all the above equipment exists, your bluetooth phone should "pair up" and your radio/COMAND should enable handsfree telephony.

You don't get it to work. It's an analog unit, which no longer works on any US cellular network. Think of it as a museum piece, built right into your car.

Yes, he'll require a digital PSE as explained in the link provided. The phone can be made to work in his car.
