wood trim removal ML 320

Need to replace the fog light switch on the wife's 2000 ML 320. Anyone have any tips on removing the wood trim surround to get to this switch?

Thanks in advance for any help.

Regards - Boyd

I hope you are not trying to get the fogs on, it is a dealer programming function, the bulbs were removed in some states and programmed out due to some state laws due to their location. It is a two step process, one activates the circuit, the other activates a bulb in the cluster. I dont remember how to get the panel off, mine got traded after the first year!

Been there, done that. Hella's have been programmed since delivery 10 years and 75000 miles ago. I need to get to the back of the panel to replace the switch.

Like I said.........
