Went to buy a Jag XJ-R for myself. Got there and found the car had been sold. Wife was with me and we ended up buying an '04 CLK-320 cabriolet for her.
As with all previous 'used cars' I have bought, I intend to go through and change out all the fliuds: eng oil, coolant, brake, steering, differential. I understand the engine takes a Mobile 1 oil. Is this off the shelf synthetic or something 'splecial'? Also, any issues with replacing the brake fluid with DOT4+ synthetic? Same question for the rear diff and steering fluids?
I like the synthetic oil: have it in my other vehicles and motorcycle. No issues...

TIA for any and all help,
