Aside from the free coffee, sodas, and cookies, that some dealers offer. The biggest problem is MB loosing control of their dealerships. If someone complains the are given the coroporate story if "independent" dealers. I have heard of stories about charging for "road aid", also charging labor to replace a battery at "road aid", and furthermore a battery, spark plug and other items should not have a different price at different dealerships.
There is also the new game of finding things when the car is in for service. My 01 E was in for oil and trans service, got a call my outside temp bulb was out, did not think, but turned out R&R cluster 1 hr plus bulb, it worked when i dropped off the car!. On other car, they wanted to do a caps, plugs and rotor, which they did 10,000 miles previously. It seems they did not keep service records for more than 3 years, and wanted to replace things because their records did not indicate it (it would have been easy to check the air filters)
