There is a DIY for this issue in the W210 forum, it's easily accomplished if you have basic mechanical skills and a pair of robust jack stands.
If you DIY you will ALSO need the dipstick tool, since your car doesn't have one. It's used to set the level, then removed and the cap restored on the tube.
Depending on how many miles you have on your car it may be worthwhile to have the fluid and filter replaced at this time as well. A good indie shop should be able to do both for something in the $300 range.
