Where is the fuse box located?

I'm searching for where the fuse box is located in a 1999 ML430. I'm trying to program the garage door opener and I can't find the fuses.

I had a 98 and fuses were under hood near brake booster, but why would you need to fool with fuses for a garage door opener

It's actually the Homelink system to open the garage door located near the rear view mirror. I'm assuming it is powered by a fuse... did you program yours?

I don't remember what year they added it but there is another fuse box in the passenger footwell area on the right kick panel. Yours may or may not have it but its the only other fuse box in a ML

I don't believe the 99's had it in the foot well. The only one I was able to find was the one under the hood. My "homelink" stopped working yesterday. Will have to check the fuse box in the hood to see if I see anything that needs to be replaced in there.

The only fuse box for 99 is the one under the hood.
