Engine chirping and cricket noise after oil change

Hello everyone I am a new member. My 2007 C280 4 Matic with only 14K miles just started to have a cricket noise from the engine after I changed oil yesterday, the noise will go away or become very low sound to notice after 10 minutes driving, do you have any idea why? I used the Mityvac to suck the oil out so I had to push the little plastic hose down the oil dip tube hard so the hose will go down to the bottom of the oil pan. Did I damage anything here?

The chirping noise may well be from the belt tensioner and they will many times quiet after some heat is built up in them. The belt is more likely the cause, check it for glazing or possibly signs of some type of spillage on it. There is no cause for a noise after an oil service.

Thanks Bill. That is exactly the problem. Now after running for about 10 miles the noise is gone. I guess the oil dripped on the belt is dried up.

But I have new problem, after oil change I reset the service message and I over reset it to service A, my car is 14K miles now next one it should be service B, using the same procedure to reset the serives message again but it did not allow me to reset it back and forth. How do I set it back to B?

It cab be reset with a star machine, the computer used by a dealer but I don't think there's a provision in the cluster to correct the problem via the cluster. Write the mileage down so you can keep track or go by a dealer and have them re-set it. Someone else who is still current may be able to give you better advise as to this issue, start a new thread and see what you learn. Do you have the owners manual where it gives basic instruction?
