Angry stranded.. fuelpump

Is there any way of starting my car with a faulty fuelpump??...I had to leave it at my mates place...But need to get it home...

Knowing what engine you have would be a great help. With carbureted engine you can just hang a bottle on the door sill, hook up the hose to carburetor nad fill it up.

and about dozens started topics on the same issue.
Fuel injection needs about 35 psi of pressure to run the engine. Although technically it is possible to make backup tank and pump -it will be much more economical to tow the car to the shop.
