Hello from Milwaukee, WI

Hello all,
New to the forum but not to forum world!

I recently purchased a 2000 W220 S430. Absolutly LOVE the car!

I did a lot of research on it and found the Airmatic system had been replaced < 25K ago. The posting by Skylaw was excellent!

She rides and handles like a dream. I have been a truck man for so long that crusing in style and luxury is quite nice. My biggest fear is some horrific malfunction of some subsystem and there I will be stuck with car I cant fix or afford to have repaired!

Oh well, what fun would ever have if worry was in charge of everything, right!

Take care and I hope to post again soon,

hello from milwaukee, im on skirts falls i have a 2000 320e a 190e 84 and 560sel 89 they are pretty simpler to fix then lets say an american car ... easier to diagnose except parts are more expensive i try to buy quality used parts on ebay or the sort

YOU CAN RUN BUT YOULL ONLY DIE...TIRED!!If you insist on driving blind and deaf to the obvious warnings coming from under your Mercedes' hood, the next sound you hear may be a rapping or knock noise from the rod bearings - which will eventually be followed by dead silence as your engine seizes and your Mercedes coasts to a dead stop.LOL
