Red face WASHER BOTTLE OVERFLOWS ? SLK3500

Hi guys i have a 05 SLK350 UK and when i fill the windscreen washer bottle up it never gets to the top like every other car i have (even my girlfriends C200 fills to the top) it just starts to come out under the wing near the drivers door is this normal ? as i dont like the thought of water keep going inside the wing/sill every time i fill the bottle up.

This does not sound normal to me, but I have never had an SLK.

yes this is normal they leak where the neck goes in the bottle,some times they leak from new. dont worry you just wont quite fill it to the top

You mean this is typical fault on this model? I would not call it normal even if it existed on most of these cars. Thanks anyway for the valuable info.
