Red face Need help with a radio code please

I have recently purchased a Becker radio via Ebay that is suppose to fit my 1995 Mercedes SL500, but it came without the radio code. The Serial number is P1015539. Is there anyone out there who can find out what the radio code is by using the serial number? If it helps the model number is BE1492? Thanks if you can help!!

Well .. if you bought stolen radio on ebay, that might be a tricky situation.

Bought it from "Discount OEM Radios" so I really don't think it is stolen they just don't have the code, it probably came out of a wrecked car.

contact the seller, if he won't give you the code demand a refund and return the radio. I reputable seller will be able to provide the code.

One more thing you can do is with radio installed drive to the dealer and present them registration with your name on it. They might give you a code based on VIN, but if that doesn't work they will pull the radio and read the serial number.
That happened on older model I bought used and the service adviser did it for free.
