Thumbs up I finally brought her home. 1980 300sd.

I will post the pics as soon as I knock the years old bird leavins' and many mm's of dusticles off of her, hopefully Saturday. After bleeding the breaks, changing the oil and putting some wiper fluid in the reservoir, I drove her down the ranch road and tiptoed out onto the highway. She purred, and sputtered and even growled a little. I will post some movies to see what y'all think. After that test run I brought her back down the ranch road and prepped myself for the 1.5 hour trip back to San Antonio. There were a few things that I noticed immediately.

The list:
Windows are slow, one doesn't function at all
more brake work, she stops well but I want to know for sure
Sunroof, was to chicken to open it for the ride home, is there a manual closing mechanism?
Antenna at half-mast permanent like
Oil Pressure was right up to 3?
No Tach
Clock said my trip took 4.5 hours. Triple time.
After arriving in SA, noticed the idle was rougher.
Cracked dash and center console.
Cruise Control no workie. Although when I hold it to accel it does.
No A/C
Wiper fluid does not dispense.
Squeelie - almost akin to Ned Beatty and the piggy thing
I can hear every flick of the switch, turn of the knob and push of a button through the radio speakers.

Observations:
No pull to left or right
Smooth slow acceleration
Temp stayed toward the cooler side.
Could definitely feel the turbo kick in.
No rust
headliner in good condition
All her lights work

I will update as soon as I get away from the job.
